For all variants of OSX has same address, and there is no need to memorize some of them. ~/Library/Application Support/Mobile Sync/Backup/ is the location for the iTunes backup that can be visited. The ~ sign means home directory which is seen the first time in explorer. For a quicker way, press command+shift+G. after that, copy and paste the previous directory into the pop-up screen. Just in case for those who are still loyal to windows XP, this is the location of the backup: C:\Documents and Settings\user\Application Data\Apple Computer\MobileSync\Backup. The iPhone Backup location is based on assumption that the main drive is C. in addition, the YOURUSERNAME section should be changed for visiting the correct address.
