iPhone 7 Smart Connector – Apple is rumored to take some of its most important features from the iPad for the iPhone 7. A new leak suggests that iPhone 7 could feature iPad Pro’s smart connector. This is according to a leak image of iPhone 7 rear case base on Japanese blog Macotakara. The blog claimed that the case is a real case and was assembled by Apple manufacturing partner Catcher Technology.

The Smart Connector on iPhone 7 will allow the phone to get easy connection of keyboards and other accessories as well as transferring both data and power. This means that iPhone 7’s accessories will no longer need their own batteries.
There are three dots at the bottom of the handset which suggest that the iPhone 7 could feature Smart Connector port. The leak image also suggests that the iPhone 7 will have a dual camera module in the upper left.
Apple’s Smart Connector was first introduced on the iPad Pro last year which provides cable free peripheral support. It also capable of transferring power and data.
Other rumored featured of iPhone 7 is Bluetooth EarPods. Apple is rumored to remove the headphone jack on its upcoming iPhone and is currently working on a new pair of Bluetooth EarPods. These earpods are said to pair and charge through the Lightning port.
As for the size, the iPhone 7 and the iPhone 7 Plus could have almost identical size to the iPhone 6s. the iPhone 7 is expected to be unveiled in September alongside with the iPhone 7 Plus.
